Missing New Testament Scriptures
« on: May 23, 2010, 02:25:02 PM »
In a post somebody mentioned a book of scripture that is mentioned, but not found, in the Bible.  Such references are common.  Below are those I know about.  I appreciate others completing to the list

It is common knowledge that the English word Bible comes from the Latin word Biblia, which in turn comes from the Greek word Biblion, meaning “the holy books.”  What we know today as the Bible were originally stand alone works of scripture whose compilation into the cannon of scripture we know as the Bible was completed by the Fourth century.

The following scriptures are mentioned, but not found, in the New Testament.

Unknown epistle by Paul (saying not to be in the company of fornicators).  1 Corinthians 5:9
Unknown epistle by Paul (I wrote afore in a few words).  Ephesians 3:3
Paul's Epistle to the Laodiceans.  Colossians 4:16
Epistle of Jude.  Jude 3
Prophecies of Enoch.  Jude 14

Once again, please help me complete the list.  Thank you.
