Topic: I Believe America Will Lead Us Into World Government

I think America is the catalyst for world government.  I think our military and economic power is the driving force behind globalism and the emerging new world order.  I think our financial failures will be the trigger for a world currency, and our global war on terror will be the trigger for world war and the realignment of the nations into a world government politically.  America will exhaust herself in this process and maybe Europe will step into the vacuum that comes from it all.  I don't know, what do you guys think?

So nobody has any comments on this?  Too sensitive a topic maybe?  I just feel America is being setup to collapse so that the new world order can emerge.

Yes.  It's inevitable because all of the major world leaders want it in some form or fashion.  First we will get a one world currency, then a world court, and then finally a world governing body.

And would such a mythical government be any less "Christ-like" than the current war-waging American one?

Sorry,  I just don't see the American public letting this happen, just for starters.  It is one thing to talk about international cooperation, and another thing entirely to talk about giving up our sovreignty.  I dont even think the Democrats would stand still for that, at least not right now.  I actually can't think of any situation where a World Government is a doable proposition.

Fit, given that well over 2/3 of the world's population is not Christian I highly doubt that any World Government will be "CHrist-like" as you put it.

You guys act like the Americans have a choice in this matter.  When it happens, the powers that be won't ask our opinion on the matter.

The Average American citizen still has the same choice that the colonists had in 1776.  Luckily, we also still have our Second Amendment rights as well.  I don't think the imposition of a non-domestic regime would be as easy as some think.  Even liberals are patriotic and would stand up to non-Americans imposing their will on us I think.

The average American won't last long against sonic weapons and other crowd control measures.  Besides, martial law will happen when America is attacked, and most will go along with it in fear of their safety.  At any rate, it won't go down like we might expect...of this I'm sure.

I hope it won't affect me receiving my pensions in Thailand.

Don't count on that.  Our government has many of the gangbangers on payroll.  They will be bought off if nothing else.  Many of them are being recruited for law enforcement because of their willingness to shoot other Americans.  But foreign troops would be called in from NATO and UN countries anyway if they became a problem.  Heck, we are letting Mexican troops fight their drug war on our soil.  They have been flying into our airspace and shooting targets for the last few weeks.

ACORN perhaps? Hard to say what "programs" designed for the advancement of urban youth are paying "gangsters" w/o knowing it... I don't think it is intentional but some of the "clients" of these programs are likely in gangs.

Oh it can't happen in America right?  Who do you think funnels in the drugs into this country?  Gangs.  Who uses the drug money to finance black ops?  The CIA.  Put two and two together, and you tell me what you get.  The CIA pays gangbangers to run drugs for them, and the government looks the other way when Mexico cracks down on them over our border...because the war on drugs is a sham used to justify the ever increasing law enforcement presence in this country while at the same time being used to finance clandestine operations worldwide because Congress won't allocate enough money into our Intelligence budget.  They have to raise money somehow, and this is their preferred method.  Remember we prop up guys like Noriega and Osama Bin Laden to do our dirty work, then when they go rogue, we take them down, and setup the next guy.  Ollie North can tell you all about it.  It's the American way.

Theologically, Satan took control of the earth (well Adam's half of the partnership with God) when he deceived Adam and Eve into listening to his advice over God's.  The Bible calls Satan the Prince of the power of the air (meaning his dominion is in the lower heavenlies...the realms beneath Heaven and above the earth).  He extended his dominion to earth once man fell into sin.  Satan confirmed this when he took Jesus up to the mountain and told him he would give him all the kingdoms he could see if he would bow down and worship him.  Jesus did not counter by saying those kingdoms were not his to give, but simply told him only God deserves worship.  Satan would not have tempted Jesus with something he could not offer.  The Antichrist will take Satan up on his offer and the world will be given over to him for a short period of time until Jesus returns at Armageddon to reclaim ownership of the earth away from Satan and his minions.
