If I omitted someone  ;D please feel free to add them and why they are controversial.

I agreed with you about Elon Musk.

I think there are probably too many to count.  The Starbucks CEO (Schultz?), the Grubhub CEO who made that famous anti-Trump cry, the CEO of United Airlines.

I could have added John Schnatter of Papa Johns.

I was thinking about him as well, but since he's no longer CEO, I figured he probably didn't count.  Anyway, what do you think about him?  On one hand, the case disgusts me because he used the n-word in a non-derogatory context and was pilloried by the powers that be in a kind of "absolute liability" way for using the word at all.

On the other hand, he should have known to avoid even getting into the mess at all in the first place.  Also, I heard reports that he blamed some other agency, at least in part, for encouraging that kind of dialogue.  Even if the agency did that, each person is responsible for his or her own words.

I just think that losing the very company that one founded because of political correctness is ridiculous.

I think he was targeted because he had enemies who disliked him.  His name has been removed from the University of Louisville College of Business.  Also, he lost naming rights to our football stadium.  He was one of the main antagonists against Tom Jurich and Rick Pitino while he was on the board of trustees.  He is a person I don't care for but he is the victim of character assassination  for sure.

Yeah I did read that it sounded like there was some in-fighting at Papa Johns, and I imagine the conference call comment generated enough backlash that the anti-Schnatter forces could get rid of him.

Looks like he's not done quite yet...  Looks like he's trying to win back at least some control of the company.

I hope he gets control back but then moves forward with selling the company off.  It would be the best ending.
