Atheists...if any are lurking, join and defend your position on why God doesn't exist.  Agnostics you too...isn't it time to get off the fence and take a side? ;D

The Rules Of Salvation
« on: July 19, 2018, 10:03:23 PM »
Outside of accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, are there any parts of salvation (i.e. the afterlife) that we can turn down?  For example:
  • The Adoption
  • Sharing In The Divine Nature
  • Your New Heavenly Name
  • Being A Joint Heir With Jesus

In other words, do we have to accept salvation as it is packaged by God or can we opt out of some of these tremendous blessings for a lower rank and privilege in heaven?  I know it sounds kinda weird to ask this, but if you really think about it, God offers almost too much to us.  As I've been thinking about it lately, I kinda feel a little bit uncomfortable receiving all of these things.  In essence, we will become mini "gods" above even the angelic hosts.  It really blows the mind what God has in store for us, and it's kinda scary too. :P
