Today is Good Friday. Think of how often you see the Cross - churches, signs, jewelry, etc.  It all points to this day.

View of the Prosperity Gospel?
« on: July 03, 2024, 11:53:41 PM »
At least I think that's what it's called.  I think it's the idea that earning of high amounts of wealth and/or luxury lifestyle is a reflection of divine blessing (?).  Alright, I could be totally wrong on that, but I believe it's a general message among Joel Osteen and certain other Christian preachers.  Thoughts?

It's a load of theological crap.  God will have favor on whom He will favor.  The "Name it and Claim It" crowd peddle a pyramid scheme religion.  They say, "Sow a seed to our ministry, and God will return your blessing 10 fold."  Or something similar.  So fake.
